Dimitri Andreatidis has been appointed the national marketing manager of Hino Motor Sales Australia (HMSA) effective immediately.

HMSA GM brand and franchise development Bill Gillespie welcomed Andreatidis to the new role.

"Dimitri’s appointment adds new energy, passion and innovative thinking to an already very experienced senior management team at HMSA," Gillespie says.

Andreatidis joins the firm with over 14 years of experience in the automotive industry.

For the past four years he was leading the product, brand and communication operations for Peugeot, Citroen and DS Australia at Sime Darby.

Before that, Andreatidis worked for Toyota Motor Corporation Australia (TMCA) for 10 years in various roles within the marketing and the product planning departments.

During his 10-year tenure at TMCA, he contributed towards the development of the marketing strategies and launch of many key models across the passenger and commercial vehicle range.

Between 2006 to 2010, he worked on the development and implementation of the marketing and communications strategy plans across commercial vehicles including the Kluger, RAV4V6, and HiLux facelift models.

Before his tenure at Toyota, Andreatidis worked with a number of advertising agencies in both automotive and non-automotive roles.
