New line-up includes American-made heavy duty clutches
Alliance Truck Parts has expanded its Australian line-up with a new range of clutches featuring heavy duty clutches, installation kits, clutch brakes, forks and clutch shafts, flywheels, spigot bearings and grease hoses.
The new range will be available through the Daimler Truck and Bus dealer network.
While the new clutches come with a two-year unlimited kilometre warranty, the rest of the Alliance parts are backed by a nationwide 12 month or 100,000km standard warranty, whichever comes first.
Daimler says the new range is an “affordable and genuine alternative to original first fit clutches”.
“The Easy Effort product can be used as a direct replacement for the most common heavy duty clutch in the Australian market,” a spokesperson for Daimler Truck and Bus says.
“It offers 30 per cent less pedal effort once disengagement is achieved and comes complete with a one-piece clutch brake.
“The AutoSet Clutch is a self-adjusting clutch that maintains a ½-inch adjustment between clutch brake and front bearing cap.
“It has multiple application compatibility, a wear indicator to determine clutch life and comes complete with a one-piece clutch brake.”
The new range of parts have been manufactured by a leading independent North American clutch maker.
