Winners of the inaugural awards will be announced at a special event on May 25
The Brisbane Truck Show Awards, a new addition to the show in 2017, have seen more than 100 nominations.
A panel of expert judges have wittled those nominations down to give us the finalists for each category
The Awards celebrate the innovative heavy vehicle industry by showcasing the best design, engineering and manufacturing achievements from the past two years.
For the last few weeks the judges, comprising some of the trucking industry’s most respected journalists, have been carefully deliberating over entries.
The awards have been assessed against a set of criteria including:
- Technical innovation and/or features
- Safety as a prime consideration
- Innovative safety features
- Service/maintenance support
- Information availability
- Distribution Network
- Delivery time
- Stock held in Australia
- Value for money.
The judges say the quality of the product and service innovations has made their job incredibly difficult, with an enormous number of great new products being released over the last two years.
Winners of the prestigious awards will be announced at an event at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on the first evening of the show.
