Sydney's Huntingwood dealership team bags two awards
Daimler Truck and Bus director Michael May presented Mercedes-Benz Trucks’ 2016 Dealer of the Year awards in Melbourne on Thursday.
Principal dealer of Daimler Trucks Huntingwood, Sydney Greg Gardiner won the Metropolitan Dealer of the Year award, while principal dealer of Daimler Trucks Newcastle Kevin Purcell collected the Rural Dealer of the Year trophy.
Congratulating the teams working at the two dealerships, May says the “Huntingwood team has hit it out of the park year after year.
“It has made a massive contribution to our sales, in all segments we compete, as well as performing at a high level for parts and after sales.”
“The Daimler Trucks Newcastle team has had a fantastic year, selling well above their target for the year and reaching out to a range of new customers.
“This is a proactive team, which has grown its service and parts business, which is crucial to our brand’s long term success.”

Tim Blackstock from the Huntingwood dealership won the Mercedes-Benz Sales Person of the Year award.
Mitchell Hynd from the Dandenong Whitehorse Truck Centre was awarded Rookie of the Year trophy.
David Centofanti of Daimler Trucks Adelaide won the Service Manager of the Year award.
Cameron Thompson of Daimler Trucks Somerton was named Mercedes-Benz Parts Manager of the Year.
