The leasing and heavy vehicle rental company has expanded its reach to South Australia
Penske Truck Rental has opened its fourth Australian location, with Adelaide following Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane with access to the rental and leasing service.
Located within Edinburgh’s industrial hub at 103-107 West Avenue, the new outlet will stock Western Star, MAN, and Freightliner trucks in a variety of day and sleeper cab variants for single trailer, B-double, and road train applications.
Part of the offering will be the Western Star 2800SS rigid body truck, launched at the Brisbane Truck Show last year, which is the company’s first move into the 15- to 22.5-tonne market.
“The 2800SS rigid truck features one of Australia’s cleanest diesel engines,” Penske Truck Rental general manager Adrian Beach says.
“It also meets current and future emission standards, has segment-best entry and egress, cabin space, and turning circle.
“The bonneted truck option will definitely give us a point of difference and something that few truck rental brands can offer.
“Our brand ethos is to offer a full line of tailored rental and leasing solutions to our customers, no matter where they are located across Australia.”
Penske opened its third store this time last year in Sydney.
