Pronto revamps software with Xi 730

Australian software company improves employee connectivity for ERP business customers

Local technology company Pronto Software has updated its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and analytics platform, Pronto Xi, making the platform available on any internet-connected device.

According to the company’s COO Chad Gates, Pronto Xi 730 encompasses a new web interface that is more intuitive and more accessible thanks to secure cloud functionality.

“Pronto Xi has undergone a complete redesign, but this isn’t just about looks, it’s all about efficiency,” Gates says.

“We believe that efficiency is a beautiful thing.”

“All the innovation within the release helps our customers be more productive; work smarter; and gives them access to information about their business from anywhere, on any device, whenever they want or need it.”

The software company says improvements have also been made to general ledger hierarchies, to quicken out-of-box report processing; the integration of mobile sales, providing a complete customer profile view; and project management tasks, with new status views and progress insights.

An employee portal has been added to accommodate timesheet entry and leave management and on-site invoicing and payment receipting has also been improved.

Gates says that Pronto Software will continue investing in cloud-based platforms as that is where the customer demand is.

“We are proud to invest more than 12 per cent of our turnover year-on-year into research and development for our flagship product,” he says.

“With 65 per cent of our customers choosing our SaaS platform, cloud innovation is a key focus area for the business.”

Pronto says Xi 730 requires no extra training as the user experience is consistent with older generations.
