Video: Stall Recovery In The New Fuso Canter

By: Steve Skinner, Video by: Barry Ashenhurst

The new model Fuso Canter off-road workhorse sees some significant improvements on the previous model, including a mechanical suspension driver’s seat and standard disc wheels instead of the old split rims.

But the most important improvement is the reintroduction after a two-year absence of low range mode within the four-wheel-drive application. In this video we demonstrate how to use low range four-wheel-drive to get yourself out of a potentially very dangerous situation, by using the "stall recovery" procedure.

Never heard of stall recovery? If you’re headed for some serious off-roading in steep terrain, you had better find out here.
