Navman Wireless Introduces Adaptive Intelligence

Navman releases new business intelligence tools to measure telematics performance against KPIs

GPS fleet management company Navman Wireless has released its Adaptive Intelligence software service which is designed to help operators increase efficiency. The service works by compiling data sourced from multiple areas into reports that match performance against various customisable KPIs.

“With KPIs embedded throughout the platform, Adaptive Intelligence does the hard work and allows enterprise businesses to quickly identify the critical few issues they need to address and implement policies to keep KPIs on track to meet their set targets,” Navman Wireless business intelligence director Matt Minor says.

Navman Wireless says that the service is designed to help enterprise fleet managers and operators act on collected data so that they can make continuous improvements in areas such as fuel consumption and excess speeding.

“Many organisations struggle to measure fleet expenditure and efficiency, especially when it comes to fuel consumption and idling. However, with Adaptive Intelligence and the integration of Navman Wireless location-based information they’re able to rigorously identify parts of the business with the greatest expense and the most opportunity, and use this information for strategic improvement,” Minor adds

Data can be sourced from various telematics systems, including Navman’s recently released OnlineAVL2 fleet tracking system, and fed into Navman Wireless’ ‘cloud’ processing server.

“Traditional business intelligence solutions now have a way to capture data from the ‘plant and people’ part of the equation,” Minor adds.

Once the data is collated and processed based on user-set business rules, the information can be combined into various reports.

The built-in reporting suite is promised to feature extensive customisation choices, with Navman Wireless claiming over 30 different reporting options and multiple dashboard views.

Navman Wireless also claims that the service can be fully integrated with existing business intelligence systems and software.
