Cummins has launched the Cummins Power App for Android and iPhone devices. The app aims to help Australian and New Zealand engine customers locate nearby service branches, get definitions for engine fault codes, and more.
"The app can be used as a service locator, finding the nearest Cummins branch or dealer to a vehicle location and then using the phone’s mapping function for routing to the facility," Cummins South Pacific Service Operations Team Member Nick Gorgievski says.
Other features of the app include 24/7 contact numbers for the Cummins Support Centre, an AdBlue locator, as well as warranty information.
"Attention was paid to aspects such as the fault code and service centre search criteria to make sure that no matter where you are you can get the information you want. Even if out of internet range, the app can still be used by drivers who may be in remote country locations," Gorgievski says.
Cummins says that it is working on updating the app with more features in the future.
