Shell partners with Cummins to expand AdBlue offering

Significant growth in number of SCR-equipped trucks prompts Shell to expand AdBlue offering

Shell is partnering Cummins to expand the reach of AdBlue in response to the growth in the number of trucks equipped with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology.

Shell is working with the engine manufacturer to deliver an AdBlue solution certified by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA).

Shell says the solution meets the required industry specifications.

"Our partnership with Shell allows commercial road transport customers to access high quality AdBlue with ease," Cummins Account Manager Bill Verhagen says.

"Shell’s distribution network helps us meet this growing demand for AdBlue with availability at the pump, in addition to 10 litre packs to top up between stops."

Shell’s AdBlue at the pump network spans 20 sites across Australia. Packaged AdBlue is also available at more than 150 Shell Coles Express sites in 10 litre packs.

"Our network of AdBlue sites is conveniently located to support the major truck routes which also provide quality Shell diesel and Shell lubricants all at the one location," Shell Marketing Manager Gavin Corcoran says.
