Graham Lusty Trailers (GLT) is opening a new manufacturing facility in Campbellfield, Victoria, which will be the second for the company.

The new facility will be capable of manufacturing the entire range of trailers and will have a retail space at the front of the building. The reason given for the expansion is to better serve the southern-based customers.

"We will be operational at the Campbelfield facility by the end of March 2014," GLT co-founder Graham Lusty says.

"The response from customers has been very positive and we are currently processing trailer orders for production in Campbellfield."

To promote the new facility, GLT is offering special upgrade packages on all new trailers ordered between now and mid-April 2014. The upgrade packages are not a specific product, but instead comprise a variety of options that will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.

"The upgrade packages are really flexible and dependant on the customer," GLT Marketing Manager Simon Fredriksen says.

The Brisbane-based trailer manufacturer specialises in low tare-weight aluminium trailers and has been operating since 2009. Graham Lusty and Roger Hill were the founders of GLT, though Lusty later bought Roger out.  Lusty was also one of the owners of Lusty EMS, until he and his partners sold their stake back in 2004.

The new facility will be located at 2070 Hume Highway in Campbellfield, Victoria.
