One of Australia’s most popular driving lamps with truck drivers, 4WD and ute owners is the rugged 215mm Narva Taurus Bull lamp.
Traditionally available in halogen only it is now available with High Intensity Discharge (HID) technology.
Using the latest German Gen5 ballast and D1 globe coupled with the rugged construction of the popular Taurus lamp, the new HID version is sure to prove to be another favourite.
With the addition of the HID technology the lamp is producing three times the light with five times the globe life of the conventional halogen lamp.
The increased colour temperature of the 35W HID globe produces a whiter light closer to daylight at 4150º, reducing eye fatigue and increasing safety on long journeys.
Additional features of the new HID Taurus lamp include robust metal housings with the option of high quality chrome or powder coated satin black finishes, an internally mounted ballast plus a secure mounting system that allows easy alignment for optimum light performance.
The mounting system also combines a rubber anti-vibration pad with a pressed metal base to provide the ultimate in stability and ease of adjustment.
With identical mountings and fittings to the earlier Halogen Taurus lamp, a simple upgrade to the latest HID version can be made quickly and easily.
Additional protection for each lamp is provided with a polycarbonate see-through protective lens cover.
