Narva’s robust work lamps released late last year under the Senator name have just got a whole lot brighter with the addition of High Intensity Discharge (H.I.D) versions in the range.

Using the latest high quality European D1 globes coupled with the compact internally mounted Gen 5 ballasts, the new H.I.D lamps come as a total package pre-wired with 300mm of cable.

Incorporating all the features of the standard halogen Senator lamps, including ergonomically moulded handle; fibre reinforced nylon housings; waterproof switch and stainless steel mounting hardware, the H.I.D versions are available in 12 and 24 Volt in both flood and pencil beam options.

Completing the Senator Xenon H.I.D range is a 12 Volt flood beam version with magnetic base featuring scratch protection rubber pads and 2 metres of spiral lead with a cigarette plug attached.

The great benefit of the H.I.D version is the pure bright white light output which at a Kelvin rating of 4150 is close to daylight.

The D1 globe and Gen 5 ballast produce a fast ignition and warm up time when compared with the older D2 technology. H.I.D’s resistance to vibration results in up to five time’s greater life compared with standard halogen globes.

Senator H.I.D lamps will appeal to a wide range of applications in mining, farming, transport and contracting where maximum lighting is required for safety and security.
