The recent release of the Narva multi-voltage L.E.D coach interior lamp has been met with a strong and receptive market response.
Volume production runs are now in place, resulting in recently announced cost reductions.
Catering for the high number of applications on coaches which do not require multi-voltage, Narva has expanded the range with the introduction of a 24 volt version with further cost savings being achieved.
In addition to this, another 24 volt model with high and low output options has also been introduced.
This lamp features a secondary earth wire that can be connected to a hand brake or door function.
In operation the high/low facility allows the lamp to have a dim light when the vehicle is travelling and be fully illuminated when stationary to assist passengers boarding and disembarking in safety.
The new lamps use six of the latest generation high output wide angle L.E.D’s along with all the other outstanding features built into the earlier multi-voltage version such as virtually unbreakable polycarbonate lens and Narva’s five year L.E.D warranty.
Low current draw also provides a major advantage with the 24 volt standard lamp drawing only 0.4A and the high/low light option lamp drawing 1.28 / 0.59A at 24 volt.
