AV Truck Services, a Perth-based Western Star and MAN dealership, tightened its grip on the Chairman’s Award, winning the award for the second time in three years recently.
Western Star Trucks Australia Pty Ltd (WSTA) and MAN Automotive Imports (MAI), are wholly owned subsidiaries of listed public entity Transpacific Industries Group Ltd.
Terry Peabody, Executive Chairman of Transpacific Industries Group Ltd and Paul Glavac, MD of Western Star Trucks Australia / MAN Automotive Imports, presented AV Truck Services Dealer Principal, Tony Vinciguerra with the award, in recognition of the dealership’s efforts in a number of areas.
These include dealership operations; customer satisfaction levels from survey results; service performance and warranty performance.
The award is judged on a points system and also takes in to account factors such as dealership presentation, trucks sales performance and parts sales performance.
Also presented were the Chairman’s Award Runner-up to Wakefield Trucks, Adelaide SA; Sales Dealer of the Year for the Brisbane Truck Centre, Brisbane QLD; Western Star Salesperson of the Year to Tom O’Hara of Wakefield Trucks, while MAN Salesperson of the Year was Scott Hall from AV Truck Services.
