As part of the partnership a brand-new MAN partnership was delivered to the team mid-last year.

Managing Director of Penske Australia & New Zealand Hamish Christie-Johnson hailed the key milestone of the delivery.

“The all-new MAN TGX prime mover delivered to the Shell V-Power Racing Team features the powerhouse 640hp engine, boasts excellent driver fit, great efficiency and economy, and optimises uptime,” Christie-Johnson says.

At the time of writing, the Shell V-Power Racing Team, with drivers Brodie Kostecki and Will Davison, currently sits fifth in the 2025 Supercars Championship.

With the Shell V-Power Racing Team committed to remaining carbon neutral, it is hoped the added efficiency capabilities of the new MAN prime mover can continue to contribute to the team’s initiatives.
