Penske lets veil slip from Western Star promotion

Star Plus features drive line, engine warranty, rental and fuel offerings

 

Penske Commercial Vehicles has launched the Western Star Trucks Star Plus promotion of extra savings and services.

The additional value is available to all customers on buying a Western Star truck and adds to a certain momentum for the make after its new 5800FE model made a splash at the Brisbane Truck Show.

The Star Plus program provides:

  • Truck Coverage 2 (TC2) package: extended warranty inclusive of driveline – 4 year/ 800,000km or a free service package (48 months or 16 free engine services)
  • Detroit DD15 warranty: 600,000 litre fuel burn, or five years, or 15,000 hours, or 1 million kilometres (whichever comes first). Cummins customers are eligible for the current Cummins uprate offer
  • up to 7.5 cents per litre off Shell diesel fuel
  • one free week of rental from Penske Truck Rental.
