Penske Australia says manufacturing issues with a brake line hose has affected more than 50 Dennis Eagle trucks
Penske Australia has issued a recall for 60 affected Dennis Eagle trucks over a front axle brake line hose manufacturing issue.
Penske says 60 trucks of Dennis Eagle’s Elite 2 2021-2022 model are affected by the recall.
Due to a manufacturing defect, the front axle brake line hose(s) may become dislodged from the end fitting crimp.
Penske says this may cause a reduction in braking performance or an unintended park brake applications.

If not fixed, Penske says this reduction in braking performance or unintended park brake application could increase the risk of an accident, causing problems to drivers and other road users.
Penske says owners of affected vehicles should contact their preferred Dennis Eagle dealer to have parts ordered while arranging for the hoses to be replaced free of charge.
