The Old Hume Highway (Remembrance Driveway) will undergo a change in traffic conditions next month at the intersection of Armour Avenue, Camden South.
Transport for NSW will be closing the southbound U-turn Bay by extending the concrete centre median strip and removing the U turn lane as well as replacing line markings. A No U-turn sign will also be installed.
Works will go over five-nights between Monday December 8 and Wednesday December 24, 2025, from 8pm to 5am, weather permitting. There will be no work on Friday or Saturday nights.
While this work is completed, there will be temporary lane closures, and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h.
To advise road users of the changes, Variable Message Signs will be in place before and after the works.
It is advised that all road users keep to the speed limits and follow the direction of traffic controllers and signs.
Some investigation work may take place during the day, which will create minimal impact to road users and pedestrians at this time.
Traffic controllers will be on site to assist road users and pedestrians if required.
