The NTRO has revealed details of its new technical conference that it’ll host in October this year
In its weekly newsletter, the National Transport Research Organisation (NTRO) says it will be hosting its international technical conference in Melbourne this October.
The NTRO International Technical Conference will introduce and showcase the latest innovations and research in road, rail, ports and airports to Australia and New Zealand.
The three-day event will be held at the NTRO’s home in Port Melbourne from October 25 to 27 this year.
The NTRO says industry-leading experts and speakers will be present at the event, which it says will lead the way in the transport future.

Early-bird discount rates are currently available for the event, with registration now open.
In the meantime, the NTRO is also calling for abstracts, with submissions of abstracts of potential papers are invited for consideration to be included as a 20-minute presentation in the conference program.
The overarching theme of the conference is transport – beyond certainty, a theme that the NTRO says looks at approaching challenges across the transport sector in the face of future uncertainties.
