Nominations have officially opened for the 2025 NSW Export Awards, which recognises the achievements and steadfast perseverance of NSW exporters, sharing their worldwide success stories.
Delivered by the Export Council of Australia in partnership with the NSW government, the 63rd year of the event will be held on November 26 and will cover 14 national-level categories as well as four specific to NSW.
The winners of national category winners will move forward to the Australian Export Awards.
The theme for the 2025 awards is Broaden Your Trade Horizons, underscoring the importance of market diversification to support NSW and Australia’s economic growth and trade resilience.
“Exporting is not just about selling products overseas; it’s about building relationships, fostering innovation, and contributing to the broader economy,” chair of the export council of Australia Dianne Tipping says.
“The success stories we see each year inspire us all to think bigger and aim higher. I encourage all eligible businesses to seize this opportunity to be recognised for their hard work and to share their journey with the world.”
Investment NSW’s deputy secretary Rebecca McPhee says exporters significantly impact the state’s economic growth, with $142.5 billion worth of goods and services sold abroad in 2023-24.
“There are thousands of NSW businesses that are flourishing on the global stage, and the NSW Export Awards are a fantastic way to celebrate their success,” she says.
Nominations close on Friday 13 June 2025, with finalists to be announced in September ahead of an awards ceremony in October.
