Nine dealerships presented with Isuzu Dealer Excellence Awards

Isuzu has recognised its top nine dealerships, with the manufacturer saying the criteria for excellence is far beyond pure sales metrics
Victoria's Patterson Cheney was one of nine dealerships recognised.

Isuzu has awarded its Dealer Excellence Awards to recognise its top dealers across Australia.

The manufacturer led the way for the industry in 2024 in a year that saw an overall record-breaking number of sales according to the Truck Industry Council, with almost 50,000 vehicles sold.

Isuzu has continued its strong start to 2025, and sold over 1000 vehicles in the month of February alone as it prepares to launch its new range of vehicles later this year.

Its Dealer Excellence Awards honour dealerships that excel in sales and deliver “unparallelled” customer service, operational precision, first-class training and “a relentless drive for improvement”.

The winners represent a mix of metropolitan and regional dealerships across four key states and territories.

The recipients are:

  • Ballarat Isuzu (VIC)
  • Canberra Isuzu (ACT)
  • Dwyers Truck Centre (NSW)
  • Major Motors (WA)
  • Patterson Cheney Trucks (VIC)
  • South West Isuzu (WA)
  • Suttons Motors Arncliffe (NSW)
  • Wagga Motors (NSW)
  • Westar Truck Centre (VIC)

Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) Director and Chief Operating Officer Andrew Harbison congratulated the winners and praised the example they set within the company’s dealer network.

“Isuzu has great pride in its network of dealers across Australia,” Harbison says. “It is fantastic to see this group recognised with Dealer Excellence Awards.

“Their outstanding sales performance for Isuzu is matched by their professionalism and dedication to our customers.

“These awards reflect the strength of the relationships they’ve built within their areas of operation and the first-class care they provide – key factors in building loyalty and differentiating Isuzu from other brands.

“Though these awards recognise the top nine performing dealerships, it’s worth nothing the exceptionally high standards across the network, which continue to do us proud.”

IAL Director and Chief of Sales and Aftersales Ben Lasry says the criteria for the awards goes beyond basic sales metrics.

“Isuzu does not hand out awards lightly,” Lasry says. “The criteria are strict, and these nine dealerships have gone above and beyond to support their customers and their requirement for top-notch service.

“Our goal is to go far beyond selling trucks; it’s about building those trusted partnerships with customers.”
