Leading convenience retailer NightOwl has opened a new store in Springfield Lakes, and the owner has his sights sets on further expansion in the coming years.
Situated in the Spring Lakes Metro complex, it is Springfield Lakes’ first convenience store to offer extended trading hours.
NightOwl Springfield Lakes Franchisee Matt Lewis says he has been “inundated” with positive feedback from locals who are glad to now have access to late night convenience shopping.
“It’s been a long time coming and it’s finally here,” Lewis says of the south Brisbane location.
“We are excited about offering something new to the Springfield Lakes community and connecting with what the locals need,” he says.
From a background in management at a discount retailer, it is the first time Lewis has ventured into business for himself as a franchisee.
“It’s my first time running a business of my own and taking on a franchise. It’s a huge step but I’m ready for it,” he says.
“NightOwl offers great support and I’m looking forward to seeing the business thrive here.”
Lewis, who lives in nearby Ipswich with his family, says the Springfield Lakes area offers “incredible potential” in terms of business growth.
“We’re in the heart of a thriving residential and business community, with a real family feel. It feels great to be here at last,” he says.
On the horizon and under the wing of the NightOwl brand, Lewis has his sights set on growing his presence in the area, aiming to expand to several stores in the next few years.
