New National Fleet Director for Volvo Group

Volvo Group is bolstering it’s customer-centric approach with the creation of a new role of Director – National Fleet – to be filled with an internal hire in the form of former Key Account Manager Michael Bridge.

“This strategic new role is aimed at providing our fleet customers with a level of service that puts their success front and centre like never before,” says Tom Chapman, vice president Sales and Marketing, Volvo Trucks Australia.

“Michael brings with him an extensive history of providing class leading solutions for commercial vehicle customers and an admirable ability to build proactive and productive industry relationships.

“Michael will work with our fleet Key Account Managers across all three of our brands to support and streamline our customer’s day to day dealings with VGA.

“We pride ourselves on our dedication towards customer success and this new role will only serve to move the needle even higher for our fleet customers.”

Bridge joined Volvo Group Australia as a Key Account Manager in 2021 and has a strong background in fleet account management, sales management, operations and logistics as well as truck sales with large dealer groups in Queensland.
