New Brisbane parts facility to serve Isuzu customers in northern Australia and beyond
September 30, 2013
Isuzu’s new 15,000 square-metre parts warehouse in Brisbane has opened to service northern Australia and the South Pacific region.
Isuzu says the facility provides customers with faster and more efficient parts availability and has become the Oceania parts hub, which will take in the rapidly expanding Papua New Guinea market.
Designed to complement Isuzu’s existing Melbourne facility, the new Brisbane warehouse also houses the offices of the company’s Queensland-based regional zone managers and contains a large training facility.
“Brisbane Airport offers a daily air service to Papua New Guinea and is ideally situated to service other locations in the South Pacific so it made sound business sense to develop a site in Brisbane,” Peter Rutkis, who heads up Isuzu’s engine and parts operations, says.
“We are meeting the high parts demand in Queensland and the South Pacific with ease.”
