New Asia Pacific President for CEVA

CEVA appoints LG Electronics Chief Supply Chain Officer Didier Chenneveau to lead its growing business in Asia Pacific

CEVA Logistics has appointed LG Electronics Chief Supply Chain Officer Didier Chenneveau to lead its growing business in Asia Pacific.

Chenneveau, who is also Executive Vice President for the leading consumer electronics company, has worldwide responsibility for LG Electronics’ US$50 billion Global Supply Chain operations.

Prior to joining LG in 2008, Didier was based in San Diego, USA with the role of HP Imaging and Printing Business Operations Vice President.

He has also worked in Europe running HP’s Consumer PC Business and in various managerial Financial and Operations roles.

Prior to joining HP, Didier worked for Caterpillar.

Chenneveau will be taking over the Asia Pacific region from Vittorio Favati, who after nine years heading up activities for CEVA and its heritage businesses within the region, will be moving to the global role of Chief Business Development Officer.

He will
remains a member of the Executive Board.

“I am pleased to welcome Didier on board and believe he will bring strong leadership to our growing Asia Pacific region,” says CEVA CEO John Pattullo.

“With Vittorio transitioning to lead our business and sales areas, it makes us well placed to maximise the opportunities we are seeing in the market.

“It will position us well for continued growth in 2011,” he says.

In related moves, Coen van der Maarel, who currently holds the position of Chief Business Development Officer, will be moving to a newly formed role as Managing Director for Central and Eastern Europe, reporting to CEVA Northern Europe President Leigh Pomlet.

All changes will be effective from the beginning of 2011.
