Narellan logistics hub takes the cake as Pack & Send’s biggest

History was made for Pack & Send Australia this month when Narellan franchise owner Scott Trevena officially opened a new logistics hub in a 329 sqm site at Smeaton Grange in New South Wales.

The official opening of Pack & Send Narellan sparked plenty of interest as it became the largest Pack & Send logistics hub in Australia.

Camden Mayor Councillor Therese Fedeli was along for the opening on March 6, lending her support to a local business that continues to grow.

For Trevena, the new hub is the culmination of more than 20 years experience working in freight and logistics, and a decision to go out on his own.

“I welcomed the challenge of running my own business, but I knew I needed to research my options thoroughly,” Trevena says.

He says the Pack & Send model aligned with his own focus on logistics, and he had been impressed by the support of the franchise group.

“The support from the nationwide network is incredible. They’ve been there every step of the way. And for those reasons, I was assured of a stable and established franchise model.”

The new hub in Narellan, NSW, being the largest in the network, demonstrates the sustainability of the system and its capability to meet evolving business requirements.

Pack & Send Australia president Sonia Shwabsky says the opening of the new hub is a “great milestone” for their network.

“It demonstrates how franchisees can put together local abilities with national support to deliver reliable solutions for businesses.”

The facility’s size was not deliberately considered; it was a coincidental alignment of opportunity and requirements.

“The location chose us,” Trevena says.

“It was able to offer the right structure for our operations and room for growth, which is exactly what we needed.”

He envisions servicing e-commerce businesses, manufacturing and events companies in the near future through third-party logistics [3PL], combining a wealth of experience in storage, processing and distribution services.

“People will always need items delivered, so there’s no question that logistics is of high importance, even with AI emerging,” Trevena says.

Pack & Send Narellan is at Unit 4, 5-7 Yarmouth Place, Smeaton Grange.
