Napthine key speaker at VTA luncheon

Victoria ports minister to cover redevelopment of Port of Melbourne, carbon tax and safe rates during speech at VTA luncheon

July 9, 2012

Victoria Ports Minister Denis Napthine will get up close and personal with Victorian Transport Association’s (VTA) members next month.

Speaking at the annual luncheon, Napthine will be discussing the redevelopment of the Port of Melbourne, including other topics such as the carbon tax, cost recovery and the Road Safety Remuneration Tribunal.

The luncheon will be held on July 31 at Hawthorn’s Leonda by the Yarra.

The VTA, which has been hosting industry luncheons for members and the wider industry for over 25 years, says the event is a significant networking opportunity.
