Name change proposed for green energy company Pure Hydrogen

Directors of Australian clean technology company Pure Hydrogen Corporation (ASX: PH2) have issued a Change of Business Name update to the Australian Stock Exchange.

As the business has evolved into a variety of new energy spaces, including battery electric and hydrogen fuel cell powered vehicles, the management team are proposing a new name of Pure One Corporation Ltd.

The name, and the reasoning are to be presented to shareholders at the 2025 Annual General Meeting.

In its statement to the ASX, the company says the “proposed rebranding better reflects the Company’s strategic focus on global commercial mobility solutions in the transport sector”.

It says the Company’s product mix and sales strategy would be “supported by ongoing expansion of market-leading commercial vehicle fleet, with multiple HFC and Electric Vehicle (EV) models now fully ADR-approved.

“Additional vehicles currently in development include a 12-metre hybrid coach and a 23-tonne hybrid rigid truck designed for regional applications,” the Company states.

It has created a new website in support of the name change www.pure1corp.com

Pure Hydrogen managing director Scott Brown says the proposed rebranding to Pure One Corporation “reflects our evolving identity and ambitions beyond hydrogen alone, allowing for greater flexibility and clarity as we broaden into a wider clean energy and mobility portfolio.

“We are pleased with the positive progress made across multiple fronts, including product innovation and a growing sales pipeline that together build strong momentum toward sustainable growth.

“Our efforts to continually update and diversify the product offering reflect our commitment to meeting varied customer needs globally.

“Furthermore, Pure remains focused on the execution of its international expansion strategy, led by early traction in North America, which now represents a major addressable market opportunity for the business.”
