In a progressive step towards smarter supply chain operations, three major Empty Container Parks (ECPs) have confirmed they will adopt the OneStop Modal platform and Vehicle Booking System from September 1, 2025.
Port Melbourne Containers (PMC), Melbourne Container Park (MCP) and Westlink Container Services have announced they will be making the shift, marking a significant shift in ECP management and heavy vehicle scheduling.
The rollout is expected to unlock a range of benefits, including a workflow boost through more efficient, automated park systems, seamless compatibility with modern software technologies for easier integration, a more intuitive, user-friendly interface for both depot staff and transport partners and simplified booking processes across wharfs and logistics providers.
“At OneStop, we’re focused on delivering technology that solves real operational challenges,” OneStop chief commercial officer Chris Harnett says.
“By implementing our innovative solutions, they’re positioning themselves for greater efficiency, improved collaboration, and a smoother experience for their staff and customers alike.”
MCP managing director Sebastian Moreau says joining the OneStop platform is a significant step forward for Melbourne Container Park.
“The combination of seamless integration, intuitive design, and enhanced system performance will enable us to operate more efficiently and deliver a stronger, more responsive service to our customers and partners across the supply chain,” Moreau says.
For PMC, the move reflects its focus on operational efficiency and service excellence.
“This partnership will enable us to work smarter, adapt faster, and provide better outcomes for our teams, customers, and industry partners,” PMC managing director Simon Douglas-Denton says.
Westlink Container Park managing director Leigh Taylor says the shift is projected to have a 17 per cent increase in productivity through streamlined system processes.
“We’re excited to join the OneStop network and implement solutions that are not only more compatible with the latest technologies, but also deliver real, measurable improvements to our operations,” Taylor says.
“The user-friendly interface and seamless experience for depot users will support a smoother transition and help us deliver better outcomes for our customers and industry partners.”
This partnership highlights the continued momentum behind supply chain digitalisation and collaborative innovation within the logistics sector.
