Maersk signs 10-year integrated logistics partnership

Furniture brand Castlery has signed a 10-year logistics partnership with Maersk to continue its growth in international markets

A.P. Moller – Maersk has signed a strategic partnership with international furniture brand Castlery which involves a 10-year integrated logistics service agreement.

Singapore-founded Castlery now operates in six countries including Australia with a focus on “urban millennial” customers.

Castlery is poised for significant growth in its existing and emerging markets in the coming years. The partnership with Maersk will provide end-to-end logistics solutions which cover ocean freight, intermodal transportation and distribution and strategically located warehousing in key markets.

Castlery has also already been utilising Maersk’s Eco-Delivery solutions for ocean freight and inland via electric trucking in an effort to reduce carbon emissions.

“We have worked hard to create an integrated one-stop logistics service model that unlocks value across Castlery’s supply chain,” Maersk Area Managing Director Southeast Asia Elaine Low says.

“We are thrilled to continue supporting their growth ambitions in different parts of the world by playing out part as a reliable logistics partner to ensure Castlery’s furniture reaches their end consumers timelessly and seamlessly.

“This new agreement signals the success of our partnership, which we are confident to grow further over the next decade.”

The introduction of Maersk’s new Gemini Cooperation network is set to improve delivery lead times for Castlery customers and help further optimise the company’s supply chains.

Co-founder of Castlery Declan Ee says this new long-term partnership with Maersk will ensure added agility to the company’s building supply chains.

“Our goal is to bring Castlery’s brand of thoughtfully designed, high-quality furniture to homes around the world,” Ee says.

“But scaling a brand globally requires more than just great products – it demands a logistics network that is agile, efficient, and future-ready.

“This long-term partnership with Maersk gives us the certainty to grow, while demonstrating our commitment to delivering a seamless experience for customers.”
