Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport’s Australian arm to host event
Two years after Australian transport and logistics excellence was recognised in Poland, the global Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) aims to gain first-hand exposure to the nation at its Perth convention in October.
Affiliated representatives from more than 30 countries will arrive in Australia for only the third time in 85 years, after the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Australia (CILTA) was chose to host the event.
The decision follows UC Logistics Australia MD and iFR8 online freight portal founder Urszula Kelly has being ‘highly commended’ at International Young Achiever of The Year award for 2018 at Wroclow, Poland.

“The Australian event will host experts, in heavy bulk and urban logistics fields, new container port clearance strategies, some amazing cutting-edge passenger innovations, and a cluster of revolutionary IT developments for the T&L sector,” CILTA national chair Dr Kim Hassall says.
A range of new vehicle technologies reflecting Australia’s logistics productivity and new transport technologies will be highlighted across all four modes.
The attending countries are: Australia, Canada/USA, Egypt, England, Ghana, Ireland, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Kenya, Kazakhstan, Macau, Malawi, Mauritius, Malaysia, Malta, Nigeria, NZ, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, PRC, Singapore, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Taiwan, Tanzania, UAE, Ukraine, Zambia.
