Australian logistics group appoints new CFO

The freight group have made a new appointment

Australian integrated freight and logistics operators Wiseway has appointed a new chief financial officer (CFO) today.

Wiseway has released that Chris Scholtz has been appointed to the role of CFO effective immediately.

Scholtz has almost 20 years of senior corporate experience across construction, engineering, industrial services and technology sectors, having most recently been CFO at Damstra Technology.

Scholtz has overseen numerous mergers and acquisitions, organisational restructuring programs, international expansion projects and financnai leadership of complex multi-jurisdictional businesses.

“Scholtz’ experience of guiding sophisticated organisations through both organic growth and acquisition activity will be a tremendous asset as we continue Wiseway’s journey from an air-exporter to an integrated logistics solutions provider,” Wiseway CEO Roger Tong says.

Scholtz is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
