Elite Logistics snaps up CS warehousing business

Acquisition incorporates 23,225sqm facility in Melbourne’s west

 

Elite Logistics Australia (ELA) has acquired CS Logistics’ Melbourne warehousing business in Truganina.

The retail-focused logistics firm acquires 23,225 square metres of warehouse space, strengthening its fashion storage and delivery capabilities.

ELA lists itself as servicing the fashion and retail sector for over 15 years “with some of Australia’s largest and well known retailers, taking the personal approach their transport needs”.

This year marked restructure of ELA into a new a new business entity incorporating Elite Retail Logistics (ERL) and new leadership pursuing “aggressive growth plans in the retail logistics space”.

The deal is seen as a filip for industrial property agency uTenant after launching a mergers and acquisitions arm.

“Thank you to uTenant for connecting us with CS Logistics. We were in the market looking for a 3PL opportunity to complete our recently merged elite group of companies,” ELA director Ashley Davie notes.

“This transaction is a fantastic milestone for the uTenant business.

“This service adds further value for our clients, tenants and the industry as a whole, building on our pallet, 3PL & industrial property matching service,” uTenant co-founder Kyle Rogers says.

“It is the first dedicated mergers and acquisitions service for the warehousing, transport and logistics business in Australia.

“For us, it’s about leveraging our database to assist tenants of industrial facilities to improve their warehousing operations and by helping them find the perfect match while creating transparency, confidentiality, and time and cost efficiencies.

“We look forward to working with the industry as we further develop this new arm of our business.”
