Toll Gold Coast launches with $33 million facility
Toll’s new Gold Coast hub can process on average up to 11,000 parcels a day

Toll Group has bolstered its presence in Queensland by launching Toll Gold Coast, a $33 million investment in a new flagship logistics hub – with another to follow on the Sunshine Coast.

Located in Arundel, Toll Gold Coast is a 10,250-square-metre purpose-built logistics hub, able to process up to 11,000 parcels a day to service customers in the Gold Coast and northern NSW regions.

Toll is also building a new $19 million facility in the Sunshine Coast, due to start operations in 2020.

The company says the Gold Coast service offers an integrated multimodal solution with transport links for local customers by combining freight services across varying transport modes.

Toll Global Express president Bruce Wilson adds the Gold Coast is a strategically significant hub in the group's network with a fast-growing population.

"We continue to invest in Queensland to improve the speed and quality of our services to our customers," he says.

"This purpose-built facility integrates our existing services into a modern logistics hub and will become the blueprint for how we run our operations across the network going forward.

"We’re proud of what we have been able to achieve in bringing our people and services together to support this key market."

Toll has completed recent Queensland investments including a $86 million facility in Karawatha and a $19 million property in Gracemere.
