Qube lifts lid on Adelaide warehousing development

New facility to service food and beverage import and export sector

 

Qube Logistics has offered an insight into its warehousing development in Adleaide, comprising a new 10,000 square metre insulated facility at Outer Harbor in South Australia.

The Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) accredited facility is located within the Qube Logistics Adelaide freight precinct incorporating full container and empty container depots.

“Situated directly adjacent to the Port of Adelaide container terminal, the facility will boast eight container packing and unpacking doors plus an enclosed breezeway for protected freight loading and unloading,” the company says.

“The addition of this new warehouse will provide significant opportunities for efficient freight handling particularly for customers importing and exporting in the food and beverage sector.”

The warehouse will comprise onsite customs and Department of Agriculture and Water Resources (DAWR) processing.

The project is set for completion in November 2019.
