eStore Logistics signs up for two Melbourne facilities

Truganina properties signals strength of ecommerce growth

The eStore Logistics ride on the nation’s ecommerce wave continues to grow, with the firm committing to two major concurrent industrial property commitments in Melbourne totalling 35,000 square metres.

The largest of eStore’s two commitments is a long-term lease on a new purpose-built 26,000-square-metre facility with Dexus at 8 Felstead Drive, Truganina.

The facility is located within Dexus’s premium industrial estate, Foundation at Truganina, which recently secured Secon Freight Logistics, Dunlop Flooring and Coles as customers.

The property will feature purpose-designed column grids to maximise storage capacity, drive-around access, a large super-canopy, a number of environmentally sustainable design (ESD) initiatives and eStore’s new national head office.

eStore linked with long-term property and supply chain partner TM Insight in designing and sourcing these new sites.

“Australian ecommerce and omni-channel retail continues to grow at a rapid rate,” eStore founder and MD Leigh Williams says.

“We are experiencing this with our existing clients and we’re keen to make our warehousing and fulfilment services available to as many Australian businesses as possible.

“In doing so we are expanding the business by taking long term leases on these two additional fulfilment centres and implementing new fulfilment technology.

“Both of these fulfilment centres are strategically located in Melbourne and will feature leading ecommerce fulfilment technology and automation that provide fast same-day fulfilment and flexible solutions to our clients.”

His company has also committed to a five-year lease for a 8,383 sq m development with Goodman within its West Industry Park estate in Truganina.

It will begin operations immediately from the facility, at 16 Vulcan Drive, Truganina.

The company recently opened 12,515 sq m warehouse at Marsden Park, NSW and the new facilities expand eStore’s national footprint to an immense 80,000 sq m, it says.
