Antranik becomes Patrick’s Fremantle terminal manager

Patrick lauds first woman to be appointed terminal manager in Australia

Rita Antranik has been appointed by Patrick Terminals to the role of Fremantle terminal manager.

Antranik has experience across various roles with Qube, Smit Lamnalco Towage, and was most recently operations manager at the Qube General Stevedoring business at Port Kembla, taking her time at Qube to almost 14 years across two stints.

At Qube she was responsible for Sydney cruise terminals, overseeing vessel operations and the day-to-day running of vessels, as well as the overseas-passenger terminal.

Patrick, of which Qube owns 50 per cent, says it is proud to make its first appointment of a woman to the role of terminal manager in Australia, which coincided with International Women’s day recently.

“We welcome Rita to the role and the Patrick fold. We also take this opportunity to thank Peter Chesi for acting in the role since December last year and his continued efforts whilst we transition Rita into the business,” the company says.

“Together with Rita, Peter and the team will undoubtedly continue to build upon the strong successes of the Patrick Fremantle terminal.”
