Hughes is upbeat about the new partnership.

Delivery startup Passel has partnered with children’s clothing brand Purebaby to launch a three-hour delivery service in Melbourne.

The crowd-sourced delivery provider promises three-hour delivery to Purebaby customers on weekends, evenings and public holidays for $15 per transaction.

"Purebaby is a perfect partner for Passel," Passel CEO and co-founder Marshall Hughes says.

"They're a lean, agile retailer that is equally customer and environmentally conscious."

Purebaby CEO Sanjay Gill says the delivery model of Passel will allow more flexibility to its customers during the peak shopping season.

"We're pleased to be able to offer our customers this unique delivery service whenever our stores are open," Gill says.

"We're focused on our parents, and we know that, especially in the lead up to Christmas and during the holiday period after, it's just not possible to get out of the house and visit a shopping centre with young babies and kids.

"Traditional delivery solutions are either too slow or too expensive, and with Passel, people can order right up until Christmas Eve and still receive their orders before Christmas."
