Sendle wins consumer opinion award

Delivery start-up claims best courier honour in 2017 ProductReview.com.au Awards

Australian start-up Sendle has won the best courier accolade in this year’s ProductReview.com.au Awards.

The parcel delivery company grabbed the top spot in the best service (logistics) category.

Sendle CEO and co-founder James Moody says it was an honour to be highly rated among the customers.

“We created Sendle to make parcel delivery simple, reliable and affordable for the tens of thousands of small business across Australia,” Moody says.

“Our goal is to help them compete in the digital age with carbon neutral, door-to-door delivery and low, national flat rates that are on average 40 per cent cheaper than traditional post.”

Moody says 2017 has shaped up to be the “biggest year to-date” for the company that saw many new partnerships, including one with DHL eCommerce.

“We’re growing 20 per cent month-on-month, and have secured a string of partnerships with major e-commerce players including eBay, Shopify, Hard to Find, StarShipIt, and ShipStation.

“In one of our biggest milestones to date, we’ve also launched an international door-to-door delivery service to help small businesses spend packages to more than 220 countries and territories around the world in a simple and affordable way.

“It’s an honour to be so highly rated by our customers and we will continue to do everything we can to level the playing field for small business.”

The winners were selected based on qualitative data analysis of goods, services and customer reviews.

“With the awards based on honest consumer reviews, we are confident these products are the most trusted in the market,” ProductReview.com.au spokesperson Chris Perrine says.

“Our team of moderators continually verify reviews from real customers, so we can most accurately determine the best products based on owner experience.

“Word of mouth has always been effective in helping people make informed purchase decisions – and now more than ever, Australians are seeking reviews as their research of choice when it comes time to buy something new or try a new service.

“We are proud to hold our awards for the second consecutive year, and just in time for Christmas.

“These awards allow products and services to stand out from their competitors, and offer a shortcut to discovering the ‘best of the best’ on the market.”
