Seasoned international executive comes with three decades of experience
John Pursey is the new business unit director – contract logistics at Yusen Logistics Australia.
Pursey took up his role on February 2 and has assumed responsibility for the New South Wales contract logistics, account management and business improvement department.
He has 33 years’ experience in the logistics and transport sector.
Before taking his new role, he spent eight years with Yusen Logistics UK, following 12 years as regional general manager for Ceva Logistics.

Yusen Logistics was formed in 2011 through the merger of NYK’s freight forwarding business Yusen Air & Sea and its domestic logistics business NYK Logistics.
