Hitech puts Dsylva into national business role

Former GE Healthcare executive to focus on the freight and asset installation

 

Hitech Asia Pacific has bolstered its team of project managers with the appointment of former GE Healthcare operations leader.

The logistics provider, which coordinates the transportation and installation of sensitive medical, printing and IT infrastructure, says it has taken on Karlton Dsylva who has more than 22 years’ experience working for GE Healthcare with 14 years at GE Healthcare Australia.

His role is national business manager and lean leader, overseeing the freight and installation of assets worth $2 million and more.

 “Hitech Asia Pacific is responsible for 70 per cent of sensitive medical equipment transportation and installation in Australia,” Hitech Asia Pacific CEO Tom Devjak says. 

“Karlton’s extensive background at GE Healthcare brings us valuable insight into this important sector.

“His firsthand experience and knowledge in-house represents a winning solution for our own business as well as our customers who will benefit from his technical expertise.”

While based at Hitech Asia Pacific’s Sydney warehouse, Dsylva will be responsible for projects happening across Australia.
