CILTA opens awards nominations for 2015 achievers
Immediate past chairman Andrew Stewart, executive officer Hanna Lucas, International Young Professional of the Year 2014 winner Jessica Paton and national chairman Dr Neville Binning.

Nominations are open for this year’s Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Australia (CILTA) Annual Awards for Excellence.

The event and recognition celebrate the best accomplishments of passenger, freight and defence transport and logistics (T&L) companies and individuals.

"This is not just a matter of self-promotion, but an important standard setter for transport and logistics in Australia. And a benchmark internationally," CILTA chairman Dr Neville Binning says.

"I encourage every T&L professional to search for a person or organisation they consider operating at a high or innovative level, and nominate them for our awards.

"We need to highlight our best people and achievements to promote the quality of our whole sector in Australia and internationally."

These awards recognise organisations and individuals that set global benchmarks for best practice in their fields of endeavour and are leaders in the profession, showing world class expertise and innovation in developing and implementing transport and logistics solutions.

Nominations can be submitted until Friday, September 25, with award winners announced in Brisbane at Doomben Racecourse on Saturday, November 7, in conjunction with the local raceday event.
