Two remaining DP World vacancies closed

Commercial managers sourced from Port of Melbourne Corp and Aurizon

 

Senior staff developments at DP World Australia continue with the remaining general managers commercial position filled following its management restructure.

Ben Mokeis now in charge of Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania, while Ravi Kumar Sheshadri looks after Queensland and New South Wales.

“Ravi and Ben will work in these newly created roles to increase DP World Australia’s commercial customer relations and growth, and to build deeper customer relationships, up and down the supply chain, ” chief commercial officer Max Kruse says.

“The expanded commercial team will focus on developing joint business opportunities with our customers, and on expanding our commercial capability to extract new business opportunities along the supply chain.”

Mokeis formerly of Port of Melbourne Corporation, where he worked as business development manager. Based at the West Swanson terminal, he starts next week.

Sheshadrijoins from Aurizon, where he worked as key account manager in the commercial and marketing Division.

He was responsible for developing, negotiating and managing contracts in the resources and agricultural sector at Aurizon.  

Based at the Port Botany terminal, he starts on October 27.

The stevedore said in July the restructure was aimed at providing more accountability and consistent work practices along functional areas of speciality.
