Kuehne + Nagel will continue to provide retail logistics to global fashion and apparel manufacturer C&A, as part of an extended partnership.
According to the agreement, Kuehne + Nagel will continue to handle quality inspections as well as intercontinental seafreight and airfreight services.
The partnership between the companies first started in 2006.
Kuehne + Nagel handles C&A’s flat-packed and garment-on-hanger shipments from factories in south, central and north China.
To carry out quality inspections, integrated quality inspection centres have been set up recently at the Kuehne + Nagel facilities in Yantian, Shanghai, Tianjin and Dalian, where the company offers seafreight consolidation services to Europe.
Kuehne + Nagel also handles C&A’s airfreight shipments via the gateways in Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing to the retailer’s distribution centres in Germany.
