Intermec adds RFID to 70 Series

Intermec has upgraded its ultra-rugged 70 series of mobile computers with a passive UHF reader

March 8, 2013

Intermec has upgraded its ultra-rugged 70 series of mobile computers with a passive UHF reader for improved data collection and advanced read performance.

The fully-integrated UHF RFID reader requires no external antenna, adding advanced RFID reading capabilities to Intermec’s CK70, CN70 and CN70 mobile computers.

Designed specifically for customers seeking a mobile RFID solution in demanding – in-premise environments – the Intermec 70 Series RFID reader platform supports medium to long-range read distances.

The reader is optimised to read one or many tags in support of inventory and asset tracking applications in retail, healthcare, industrial and government market segments.

Additionally, the 70 Series RFID does not compromise size and weight; with a fully integrated design.

With its single platform approach, the 70 Series RFID delivers the benefits that come with one architecture, one software build, one set of peripherals and one charging system.

The 70 Series RFID is fully compatible with the entire suite of original 70 Series accessories.
