The relationship will leverage Intermec’s rugged mobile computer experience and ecom’s competence in developing portable intrinsically safe devices to bring to market leading solutions that are approved for use in hazardous areas.

offers worldwide certifications for use in explosive atmospheres, ranging from refineries, chemical plants, mining operations and pharmaceuticals, among others.

Together, Intermec and ecom will address market demand for innovative mobile computing solutions that can withstand the rigors of use within the most dangerous environments.
