Manitou unveils its new telescopic handler, the MHT 10225.

With a lifting capacity of 22,500kg and 10 meter lifting height, the
the MHT 10225 is the world’s largest telescopic handler.

This new model is part of the MHT range which offers enhanced versatility and safety compared with cranes and forklifts.

MANITOU Australia Managing Director Stuart Walker, tThe ability to handle oversize loads as a forklift, instead of having to lift as a suspended load means less stability concerns than a crane.

He adds the MHT range is designed to operate on very rough terrain, to lift very large and bulky loads.

“The machine, its accessories and torque are key for applications requesting both versatility and capacity,” Walker says.

“Far from being ‘just another loader’ the MHT offers maneuverability, precision and versatility for a true operating performance.”

Compared with a forklift, the MHT range’s load management system and pre programmed load charts for each attachment ensure lifts are carried out in complete safety.

When it comes to versatility the MHT range can handle freely suspended loads either with a single hook system or it can be offered with a fully integrated winch system.

Other attachments offered include work platforms up to 1000kg all fully compliant with AS1418.10.

Mining specific attachments include tyre handlers for all size tyres, hub and strut handler, hydraulic cylinder handler, suspension strut handler etc.
