The MC9090-G is a flexible multi-function handheld RFID reader, giving users a tool to capture data ranging from RFID tags and bar codes to images.
A single device, the MC9090-G provides a more cost-effective architecture and reads data in remote areas that fixed RFID readers can’t get to.
With Motorola’s handheld, there are fewer devices to purchase, support and manage.
The device runs on the Windows Mobile 5.0 and 6.1 operating system, and supports 1D and 2D bar code scanning, RFID and imaging. It supports EPC Gen 2 and Dense Reader Mode (DRM) which allows the easy integration of RFID as part of
supply chain processes.
With superior wireless connectivity, the user can effortlessly connect to a headset and printer. The device comes equipped with pinpoint locating technology, which directs the worker to a specific item.
The MC9090-G’s rugged construction gives the industrial worker flexibility to work in almost any environment, which radically reduces repair and downtime costs.
The device has an IP64 sealing rating and passes the most rigorous of drop and tumble tests, which ensures reliable performance on the manufacturing floor, in the loading dock or out in the yard.
