Enpac spill pallet prevents slips and falls

Enware releases Enpac's new four-drum spill pallet for spill prevention and secondary containment

July 15, 2011

Enware has released a four-drum spill pallet from Enpac, one of the world’s leading makers of top quality spill prevention and secondary containment.

The tough, lightweight (41kg) Poly-Slim-Line 6000 is part of a comprehensive range of Enware spill containment technology designed to help combat slip, fall and trip accidents that account for more than 25,000 new workers compensation cases a year in Australia.

The Enpac polyethylene equipment complies with some of the world’s most demanding packaging and environmental standards for handling, storage and transporting of hazardous materials.

Poly-Slim-Line 6000 – plus the two-drum Poly-Spillpallet 2000 and two, four, six and eight drum workstations – are part of a broader spill containment, environmental and worker protection products from Enware EH & S division.

Enware Australia Managing Director Paul Degnan says
the pallets and workstations limit worker exposure to accidents and reduce material costs by
reducing spillage and disposal.

“The tough range is intelligently designed to enable workers to boost productivity by moving more products more quickly,” Degnan says.

“Another major benefit, in these days of high workers compensation claims, is potentially being able to reduce premiums by demonstrating first class facilities plans and materials handling products.”

Poly-Slim-Line 6000 holds four 205 litre drums, is forkliftable from all four sides, and features:

  • 250.8 litre sump capacity, which meets the USA’s EPA 40 CFR 264.175
  • Raised edge of back and side to enhance barrel security on the pallet
  • Low 30cm profile, compact 137X137cm W/L
  • Drain hold and plug
  • Two removable, non-skid grates
  • Load bearing Capacity (UDL) 2700kg
